After the war, Ferdinand Porsche was imprisoned for war crimes leaving his son, Ferry Porsche to devote his time to creating a car to suit his needs – the sporty 356. This was the injection of performance into its bloodline. Porsche later went on to create a performance car that can transfer this power to the road effectively, in this process applying all the knowledge and experience they have gained from motorsport.
