Lincoln was an independent luxury motor company formed in 1917. Founded by Henry Leland, the engineering whiz that left Cadillac, the company was named Lincoln after his hero and once state leader Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Motor Company (most commonly known simply as Lincoln) is now a division of the Ford Motor Company that markets luxury cars under the Lincoln brand. The product line includes sedans, crossovers, sport utility vehicles, and versions for limousine/livery use.
The current line-up of Lincoln cars comprises of the Navigator, Aviator, Nautilus, Corsair, Continental and MKZ. Lincoln cars are primarily marketed in China and North America. Despite its presence as a luxury car manufacturer, Lincoln has seen severe setbacks in recent years with difficulty penetrating Asian and European markets.
Clive Sutton has been a leading American car dealer and custom car workshop in the UK for over 30 years. We import all Lincoln models into the Uk and we can offer Right-Hand-Drive conversions on the latest model Lincoln Navigator.
