Porsche recently revealed the fastest and the most powerful 911 ever built, the 911 GT2 RS. The fastest 911 was revealed last week at the Good Festival of Speed in the UK.

The fastest and the most powerful title was given to the 911 GT2 RS thanks to its biturbo engine that produces 700 HP! The 3.8-lt biturbo engine produces 700 HP and 750 nm of torque. This power is delivered by a 7-speed double-clutch automatic PDK gearbox. Similar to the BMW M powered car, Porsche sprays water to cool down the charge-air.

The fastest 911 needs only 2.8 seconds to reach 62 mph (100kph). This figure is only 0.3 seconds slower than that of the Bugatti Chiron. The top speed of the 911 GT2 RS is 211 mph (340 [...]

Porsche Cayenne A380
A Porsche Cayenne Diesel S and a Turbo S towed an Airbus A380. Recently, Porsche UK decided to set a new record for the Guinness World Record Book for towing an aeroplane with an SUV. For this record breaking event, a Porsche Cayenne S Diesel and a Turbo S were used. The aeroplane was an Air France double decker A380 weighting 285-tonnes!

You may remember a similar attempt by VW UK with a Touareg V10 diesel more than a decade ago. The Touareg V10 towed a Boeing 747 at the Top Gear racetrack. However, that plane had dummy engines and was ‘way lighter than the A380. This time, the Porsche Cayenne towed a fully fitted aeroplane.
