Ford Mustang Boss 302

Projects Description

We are able to either build a car from an original 1969/70 body vehicle or we can supply a brand new body and chassis with all new components.

We can deliver a robust, powerful build that is dependable and handles with a level of predictability you would expect in a modern car. Built to your own specification from either an original body or a new body shell, each Boss Mustang take about 10 months to deliver from order. Have a look at one of our project cars.

The body and chassis were taken apart and given a full classic car restoration. Correct chassis jigs for the ’60s to early ’70s models were used to ensure that the body and chassis were correctly placed back together with uniform panel gaps after taking them apart. The engine has been completely rebuilt, a new fuel injection system has been installed, along with stainless steel headers and exhaust. The result is output between 350hp to 400hp. It’s mated to a contemporary Tremec TKO five-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter.

The most interesting car modification to this project is the RHD conversion (switch from left to right-hand drive). To make it handle and feel like a modern car, the suspension has been replaced with Total Control Products. A powered rack and pinion steer-ing conversion have also been installed as well as four-wheel disc brakes from Wilwood. To top it off, air conditioning and a full leather interior have also been added.
