Porsche have recently updated the Macan, the smallest SUV of the Porsche vehicle range. It was first introduced in 2014. Based on the latest reports from Porsche, Macan was the best seller of all the Porsche range. That’s why Porsche didn’t make any significant visual changes. Instead, this facelift has mainly focused in technological improvements.
New headlights feature four LED running lights and the turn signals are positioned at the bottom of the front bumper. The new 20-inch and 21-inch wheels design reflect a fresher look and make it more visually distinctive than the previous model.
Unlike the front, the rear of the new Porsche Macan has a similar look to the Cayenne and shows a greater resemblance to the larger sibling.
The 12-inch infotainment system of the Porsche Macan is one of the most significant upgrades that will immediately appear. In addition, voice control is now standard, and you have the opportunity to record your off-road driving experiences via the Offroad Precision app using camera feeds.
The other important improvements are an air ioniser, and traffic jams assist that allows for semi-autonomous driving. It controls brakes, steering and acceleration up to 37 mph.
Overall, we really appreciate the Macan upgrades which shift the competition to a higher level. If you are planning to buy a mid-size luxury SUV, the Porsche Macan will be the best option for you.
