Range Rover Velar

Land Rover recently added a new model to the Range Rover product range, the Velar to fill the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. Before we start, the Velar name is derived from the original Range Rover prototype of 1969. Unlike the other Range Rover models, the Velar is designed in terms of the reductionism approach. This involves simplifying the design by removing all unnecessary elements.

Thanks to the new design approach, you can feel the luxury, both in the exterior and in the interior. The new design approach involves improved attention to detail and has created a new level of luxury design for the Range Rover products.

The new centre console of the Velar is totally new to the Range Rover family. The control buttons of the centre console are [...]

Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast is probably the most unpredictable branding exercise to come from Ferrari. The 812 Superfast brand did not appear from anywhere. In fact, the Ferrari 500 Superfast from the 1960s was the starting the point. Ferrari brought the 1960s branding back to modern life.

The 812 Superfast replaces the F12berlinatta. As the LaFerrari is no longer available, the 812 Superfast is the fastest Ferrari you can buy at the moment. Despite the radical branding, the engine is still a naturally aspirated V12 that is placed just behind the front-axle. This V12 might be the last naturally aspirated engine from Ferrari, therefore the 812 Superfast will be definitely a collector’s item in future.

The innovations of the 812 Superfast start with EPS. For the first-time Ferrari offers an electric steering [...]

Porsche 911
The iconic sports car, the Porsche 911, reached the 1-millionth model. The Porsche 911 is a style icon, a representation of Porsche’s racing heritage and a practical everyday car. If you ask someone to draw a Porsche on a piece of paper, they will be drawing something that will look more or less like the 911.

Since 1963, the Porsche 911 has become a part of the Porsche DNA. With each new model, the 911 defined the benchmark for the sports car market, and pushed the limits to higher levels. Even the competitors of the Porsche 911 compared their cars with the 911.

According to Porsche

“The two-door car remains the most strategically important model in the product range and makes a huge contribution to maintaining Porsche’s position as one of the most profitable [...]

The New BMW M5

Latest Photos

The new BMW M5 was revealed a couple of days ago. And we have a very big surprise! The sixth generation of the M5 will be offered with the M xDrive system. So, what is M xDrive? It is an all-wheel-drive system designed specifically for the M5. It is the first M5 to be offered with an all-wheel-drive system. The good old days of the pure rear-wheel driven M5 are gone, or perhaps it will be offered as a special edition.

According to BMW, the M xDrive will offer a better driving experience and greater everyday practicality. This means that the M5 will able to cope with snow and wet road conditions much better. Furthermore, BMW has improved its overall performance by providing engine power to the all wheels. This will lead to increased sportiness and [...]

A couple of days ago BMW released a preview of the new 8-Series Coupe. For the last few years, there have been rumours about the new BMW 8-Series, which BMW neither denied nor verified. What we witnessed was only a concept vehicle and no more.

At the same time, the BMW 6-Series was ageing and there were no rumours about the next generation. Back in the day the 6-Series had been revealed to compete with the Porsche 911. However, it ended up as an alternative to the Mercedes-Benz S-Coupe (previously the CL-Class). As a result of this contradictory situation, BMW decided to offer a proper competitor to the Mercedes S-Coupe and the 8-Series was back in the game!

Since the 8-Series left the production line, there has been a gap for a large GT car [...]

Porsche Cayenne A380
A Porsche Cayenne Diesel S and a Turbo S towed an Airbus A380. Recently, Porsche UK decided to set a new record for the Guinness World Record Book for towing an aeroplane with an SUV. For this record breaking event, a Porsche Cayenne S Diesel and a Turbo S were used. The aeroplane was an Air France double decker A380 weighting 285-tonnes!

You may remember a similar attempt by VW UK with a Touareg V10 diesel more than a decade ago. The Touareg V10 towed a Boeing 747 at the Top Gear racetrack. However, that plane had dummy engines and was ‘way lighter than the A380. This time, the Porsche Cayenne towed a fully fitted aeroplane.

Unlike the Touareg, the Cayenne does not have a low-range gearbox to increase the engine torque. [...]

Clive Sutton Top Marques Monaco
We were happy to participate once again in this year’s Top Marques show in Monaco. This “boutique motor show” hosts a variety of unique vehicles and, for certain exhibitors, the chance to demonstrate vehicles on part of the Grand Prix circuit.

This was an ideal opportunity for us to reveal our latest model Sutton CS800 Mustang to the public. We have been working hard to produce the CS800 Mustang, and Top Marques Monaco was the perfect place to reveal it.

On the first day of Top Marques Monaco, we received a great deal of attention for the CS800 Mustang since the press release was published few days before the event. The Top Marques Monaco was solid proof of the CS800 Mustang’s success. Both visitors and the press were excited to see [...]

2018 Lincoln Navigator

Lincoln recently revealed the new 2018 Navigator in New York. The iconic large-SUV has been revised top to bottom to keep in the race, and also capture the market lost to the Cadillac Escalade. This time Lincoln has worked hard and designed an SUV that will not only compete with the Escalade, but also will be a strong rival to European brands in the US market.

The Navigator is made from high strength aluminium to save weight, improve efficiency, reduce the centre of gravity and improve the handling. The aluminium body is still built on a frame, but the use of aluminium has saved 200 pounds in weight.

Under the bonnet, the new Navigator houses the same engine you will find in a Ford F150 Raptor – a 3.5-lt Twin-Turbo EcoBoost V6 petrol engine. [...]
