Porsche recently revealed the fastest and the most powerful 911 ever built, the 911 GT2 RS. The fastest 911 was revealed last week at the Good Festival of Speed in the UK.
The fastest and the most powerful title was given to the 911 GT2 RS thanks to its biturbo engine that produces 700 HP! The 3.8-lt biturbo engine produces 700 HP and 750 nm of torque. This power is delivered by a 7-speed double-clutch automatic PDK gearbox. Similar to the BMW M powered car, Porsche sprays water to cool down the charge-air.
The fastest 911 needs only 2.8 seconds to reach 62 mph (100kph). This figure is only 0.3 seconds slower than that of the Bugatti Chiron. The top speed of the 911 GT2 RS is 211 mph (340 kph).
