A few days ago Ferrari revealed a new entry model to replace the aging California T. It is called the Ferrari Portofino. So why Portofino? Portofino is a small Italian fishing village with a picturesque harbour. Despite the fact that Portofino is a small quiet port in the Ligurian coast, it is a very upmarket and a destination stop for most luxury yachts in the region The Ferrari Portofino is a more exclusive name than the outgoing California
The California T was designed to offer an entry level Ferrari to reach a wider range of customers, and they achieved it. However, the California T wasn’t really considered to be a proper Ferrari. Even though the performance figures were really good, the California T never managed to break the ice with Ferrari fans.

The current Bentley Continental GT was revealed in 2003, based on the VW Phaeton platform. At that time, the Continental GT was a ground-breaking car with an all-wheel drive system, a W12 engine, and air suspension as some of the unique features. In 2003, the Continental GT was the only GT Coupe with such features. In addition, it was a new era for the Bentley, and the Continental GT grabbed the attention of a younger audience and dropped the average age of Bentley customers. The connection between the Phaeton and the Continental were more than just one of platform sharing. Many of the state of the art technologies of the Phaeton were transferred to the Continental.
Over the years, Bentley has introduced many different limited editions of the [...]
Porsche recently revealed the fastest and the most powerful 911 ever built, the 911 GT2 RS. The fastest 911 was revealed last week at the Good Festival of Speed in the UK.
The fastest and the most powerful title was given to the 911 GT2 RS thanks to its biturbo engine that produces 700 HP! The 3.8-lt biturbo engine produces 700 HP and 750 nm of torque. This power is delivered by a 7-speed double-clutch automatic PDK gearbox. Similar to the BMW M powered car, Porsche sprays water to cool down the charge-air.
The fastest 911 needs only 2.8 seconds to reach 62 mph (100kph). This figure is only 0.3 seconds slower than that of the Bugatti Chiron. The top speed of the 911 GT2 RS is 211 mph (340 kph).
Comments Off on Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series
Few days ago, Porsche introduced a limited edition of the 911 Turbo S. It is called the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. We can understand the logic behind this ‘new’ model. The 911 model range is getting old and approaching to the end of its product life-cycle, and the company has to offer something new to support the sales figure until the new model is revealed.
Limited to 500 units worldwide, the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is not only a branding mimic, but also a very powerful 911! The existing 3.8-lt bi-turbo engine is now producing 607 HP! This is 27 HP more than the existing 911 Turbo. The amount of torque generated by the 911 Turbo S is now 750 Nm and it delivers between 2,250 [...]
Comments Off on The New Aston Martin DB11 with A V8 Engine
After a very long time, Aston Martin replaced the aging DB9 model with the DB11. The new DB11 is a new chapter for Aston Martin. DB11 is a result of the collaboration of Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG. Mercedes-Benz has had an interest in Aston Martin for more than a decade. As the BMW and VW own British brands, Mercedes-Benz was the only German car manufacturer that didn’t such a brand. Consequently, Aston Martin is the perfect recipe.
We can see Mercedes-AMG touches in the new DB11. A few weeks ago, Aston Martin announced the V8 engine that powered the DB11. This V8 is transferred directly from the Mercedes-AMG to the Aston Martin. With the DB11, the era of Mercedes-Benz has started. In addition to the V8 engine, the new DB11 is equipped [...]
Land Rover recently added a new model to the Range Rover product range, the Velar to fill the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. Before we start, the Velar name is derived from the original Range Rover prototype of 1969. Unlike the other Range Rover models, the Velar is designed in terms of the reductionism approach. This involves simplifying the design by removing all unnecessary elements.
Thanks to the new design approach, you can feel the luxury, both in the exterior and in the interior. The new design approach involves improved attention to detail and has created a new level of luxury design for the Range Rover products.
The new centre console of the Velar is totally new to the Range Rover family. The control buttons of the centre console are [...]
The Ferrari 812 Superfast is probably the most unpredictable branding exercise to come from Ferrari. The 812 Superfast brand did not appear from anywhere. In fact, the Ferrari 500 Superfast from the 1960s was the starting the point. Ferrari brought the 1960s branding back to modern life.
The 812 Superfast replaces the F12berlinatta. As the LaFerrari is no longer available, the 812 Superfast is the fastest Ferrari you can buy at the moment. Despite the radical branding, the engine is still a naturally aspirated V12 that is placed just behind the front-axle. This V12 might be the last naturally aspirated engine from Ferrari, therefore the 812 Superfast will be definitely a collector’s item in future.
The innovations of the 812 Superfast start with EPS. For the first-time Ferrari offers an electric steering [...]

The iconic sports car, the Porsche 911, reached the 1-millionth model. The Porsche 911 is a style icon, a representation of Porsche’s racing heritage and a practical everyday car. If you ask someone to draw a Porsche on a piece of paper, they will be drawing something that will look more or less like the 911.
Since 1963, the Porsche 911 has become a part of the Porsche DNA. With each new model, the 911 defined the benchmark for the sports car market, and pushed the limits to higher levels. Even the competitors of the Porsche 911 compared their cars with the 911.
According to Porsche
“The two-door car remains the most strategically important model in the product range and makes a huge contribution to maintaining Porsche’s position as one of the most profitable [...]
