At the recent Detroit Motor Show, Dodge revealed the latest RAM. This time Dodge has removed 102 kg, and have introduced an eTorque mild-hybrid system and 14-inch front brakes. The weight loss is achieved by the use of high-strength steel in the frame and the body. We are quite familiar with the use of high-strength steel in the case of European cars, but now the Americans are following this trend.

As the SUVs have been morphing into. the new MPVs, pickups are becoming the new SUVs, and we can clearly see this with the RAM’s recent improvements, from engine technology to driving assistance systems.

Starting with the bonnet, the RAM houses a 5.7-lt V8 Hemi that generates 395-HP and 555 Nm of torque. As the V8 Hemi is a petrol engine, we can’t get the high levels of torque as we can with a diesel engine. However, the new mild-hybrid system adds 176 Nm [...]

The new Aston Martin Vantage has now been revealed. It was first introduced in 2005 to compete with the Porsche 911. Despite its best efforts, Vantage never managed to be the perfect substitute for the Porsche 911. However, the Vantage created its own fans! It also reintroduced V8 engines to the range where for many years V12s were standard engine configuration in Astons.

Being an entry level Aston Martin has never been a problem for the Vantage. It has had the Aston Martin DNA since the beginning, with an aggressive engine with unique exhaust notes and the iconic Aston Martin handling. Unlike other entry level sports car, the Vantage offered a proper Aston Martin experience. The addition of the V12 motor produced one of the most satisfying Aston’s to drive in years.

Now Aston Martin has revealed the brand-new Vantage. This time, Aston Martin created the Vantage without the Ford. Instead, we see a Mercedes-AMG 4-lt [...]

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS was revealed a few weeks ago. The third generation CLS has not broken the original format and remains based on the latest E-Class, sharing the E-Class’s modular platform technology, nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4MATIC four-wheel drive system. Also, the CLS is available with three different suspension systems, standard springs, adaptive dampers and full air suspension.

The CLS was a new challenge for Mercedes-Benz when it was first introduced in 2005. A four-door coupe with a radical design was something new to the Mercedes-Benz brand. Until that time, Mercedes-Benz had clearly separated coupes and sedans. However, the CLS was the first car of that genre combining coupe looks with saloon car design. This radical movement brought new customers to Mercedes-Benz and changed the perception of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

As the years passed, the CLS [...]

The G-Wagon is soon to be revealed. Mercedes-Benz first introduced the G-Wagon in 1979. Since then, there was no second generation of the G-Wagon. Instead, a continuous facelift was preferred. Therefore custom updates can bring a 1979-model into a 2017-model look with minor alternations in the exterior design.

Despite the retro-classic design, the G-Wagon was the most outdated Mercedes-Benz vehicle in their product range, and the engineers did not have an opportunity to apply the latest forms of driving assistance and semi-autonomous systems to the G-Wagon. In addition, the G-Wagon was designed during an era in which fuel efficiency was not the main concern. Therefore, the G-Wagon is not a very competitive in terms of fuel consumption vehicle when compared with the other luxury SUVs.

What was not anticipated was the super cool market [...]
