Mercedes-Benz recently revealed a new vehicle on the market, the X-Class. Aside from the G 6 The X-Class is a premium pick-up based on the Nissan Navara and was introduced as part of the Mercedes-Benz family. Nissan and Mercedes-Benz have been working together since April 2010 as the automotive industry is becoming more competitive and brands need new models. Partnerships are becoming the new normal for the car industry.

The X-Class is the first vehicle Mercedes-Benz created as a result of this alliance. Despite the Nissan factor in the X-Class, the Navara is robust and reliable. Therefore, Mercedes-Benz preferred this platform for a new vehicle.

The other question is, why a Mercedes-Benz pickup? We can clearly see that Mercedes-Benz realised that there was a gap in the premium pickup market globally. Despite the existence of American pickup trucks, there are a very limited number of premium pickup vehicles that can be purchased under a luxury [...]

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS was revealed a few weeks ago. The third generation CLS has not broken the original format and remains based on the latest E-Class, sharing the E-Class’s modular platform technology, nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4MATIC four-wheel drive system. Also, the CLS is available with three different suspension systems, standard springs, adaptive dampers and full air suspension.

The CLS was a new challenge for Mercedes-Benz when it was first introduced in 2005. A four-door coupe with a radical design was something new to the Mercedes-Benz brand. Until that time, Mercedes-Benz had clearly separated coupes and sedans. However, the CLS was the first car of that genre combining coupe looks with saloon car design. This radical movement brought new customers to Mercedes-Benz and changed the perception of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

As the years passed, the CLS [...]

The G-Wagon is soon to be revealed. Mercedes-Benz first introduced the G-Wagon in 1979. Since then, there was no second generation of the G-Wagon. Instead, a continuous facelift was preferred. Therefore custom updates can bring a 1979-model into a 2017-model look with minor alternations in the exterior design.

Despite the retro-classic design, the G-Wagon was the most outdated Mercedes-Benz vehicle in their product range, and the engineers did not have an opportunity to apply the latest forms of driving assistance and semi-autonomous systems to the G-Wagon. In addition, the G-Wagon was designed during an era in which fuel efficiency was not the main concern. Therefore, the G-Wagon is not a very competitive in terms of fuel consumption vehicle when compared with the other luxury SUVs.

What was not anticipated was the super cool market [...]

The Mercedes-Benz S-Coupe and the S-Cabrio are the land yachts of the automotive industry. Also, we can’t ignore the technological inheritance from the S-Class. The incorporate autonomous driving, connectivity, driving assistance systems and journeys in state-of-the-art comfort. The S-Class family can easily read the road and adjust the suspension to avoid any imperfections of the road being reflected within the interior.

Recently, the S-Class received a serious facelift and started to offer state-of-the-art technologies, and brand new engines under the hood. The facelift of the S-Class could not be postponed as the GT market is getting increasingly competitive. The segment leader is Bentley and they have just released [...]
