Gemballa is one of the key Porsche tuners in the Germany performance industry name after its eponymous founder Uwe Gemballa( now deceased)  the company has  been turning out extreme and sometimes contraversal versions of the established Porsche range for over 30 years.  The Mirage GT is the  Gemballa tuned Carrera GT whilst the Avalanche is their take on the 911 and the Aero 3 the Gemballa interpretation of the Cayenne. The company recently displayed its latest range at the Top Marques Show in Monaco.

This particular Gemballa is a rare right hand drive variant of the 996 series 911 . Based originally on a Carrera 2 convertible this GTR500 is a twin turbo 500 Hp full Gemballa conversion originally costing £275,000. The car was originally sold in the UK and later was restocked by Gemballa where it remained in their museum for a number of years. With only 15,000 miles it has now been extensively prepared for sale including a full engine rebuild just done at a cost of  £15,000.
