The new 2010 Camaro offers a choice of six-speed manual transmission or a new TAPshift automatic transmission. The Chevrolet Camaro SS with the standard 6.0 V8 engine produces 400 hp V8 engine with automatic transmission, featuring Active Fuel Management for added fuel savings. The new 6.2 V8 Camaro SS model comes standard with manual transmission and Brembo four piston calipers, and develops 422 hp. Manual transmission is standard on the Camaro LS and Camaro LT models. The Camaro with the standard 3.6 V6 DOHC engine develops 300 hp The Chevrolet Camaro has a new 4.5-link independent rear suspension, and with six airbags and Bluetooth wireless technology, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and a StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System with traction control are standard on all new Camaro models.
